My NEOWISE, my diary, all of me.. Here is an experience ‘in your environment’ of my latest painting, ‘Diary of NEOWISE’ (I hope)
This is a new painting I just finished yesterday. I may have mentioned in a past post somewhere here on my blog or on my social media that I like to title work around cosmic events at a given time. I think that is where my previous painting ‘The solar Wind of Comet SAWN’ cameContinue reading “Diary of NEOWISE”

It is a diptych of 2 panels on deep edge extra fine canvas,Continue reading “Making ‘The Solar Wind of Comet SWAN”
A glance at our Milky Way tonight. Its been a while since I took my camera to the stars. I am overwhelmed to say the least and reminded again.. at how small we really are. Every so often I revisit a painting that resonates unresolved in the back of my mind. Here is ‘Lush’ forming a conclusion of sorts. Inspired by the warm summer sensations of a mid July and the colours that it brings. Tree stumps amongst an array of beauty and colour, where the foxglove dominates for aContinue reading “Lush : Part 1 and 2”
Here is today’s studio session where I am continuing one of a number of works on the go at the moment. This painting is because of Comet Neowise.. Sometimes I just get the urge to mark cosmic events however little or large its significance.
From my recent studio sessions of this painting in the making. Here are 2 different stages one after the other. The refining and problem solving continues..
A work in progress and time lapse video documentation of process.
This is a painting from 2019 that I am revisiting. Where I have come to in my current ongoing series of work began in 2019 and my style is constantly evolving. Plato thought nature but a spume that playsUpon a ghostly paradigm ofContinue reading “Responding to ‘Among School Children’, by W.B. Yeats”
This is one of the fun parts of making the painting. One of the expressive parts for colour, as the values form from lights into darks. It’s almost like the colour is dancing along with the under drawing’s lead.
Re-worked 2020Over the past few months looking back at this painting from 2019, the more I looked at it, the more I felt it needed refining. So I revisited it these past few strange weeks.
Current times made me re-look at this painting that I painted a small few weeks back. Art and music are more than ever so important right now. I don’t want to mention the, what I think is now the new ‘C’ word. There is too much negativity out there right now and these times areContinue reading “Chaos Without Order”
