Soundwaves of a Creaking Tree

One of the many things that make me stop on my tracks while out on hikes is the sound of creaking trees. I just love that sound so much and it is very comforting to me for whatever reason. The creaks vary in levels of sound and speed depending on the weather conditions and the age or size of the tree. The older and bigger the tree, the deeper it sounds. It also changes in speed according to the winds. They echo from one end of the forest to another as if in communication to each other.

I sit and eavesdrop till its time to go..
