Works in progress and probably a full moon eve moment of madness!
These began as gestural quick marks that all came about in one session within 4 hours. It was an expressive beginning to something I wanted to explore using yellow and orange, colours I love using together. The mediums used were both oil paints and oil sticks.
The next stage will be to refine parts of the works that appeal to me and to challenge the line, colour and marks further into a unity that is less arbitrary.
