Communication

I enjoy how colours talk to each other and the challenge of making them work within one shared space. Line and texture fall into that same venture at some point and pose similar challenges. I never really know where a painting is going until almost the end. I can’t usually tell when, until I come away from the work and come back. So many new things are discovered, like how some detail needs to go in order for another to live, in the work.
