Lots of things come to mind when I paint and forContinue reading “The Artist Statement..a fear”
Sometimes or Always?
Standing back after an intense session of painting and trying to work out where it’s going I can sometimes see parts of the chaos in my mind. Usually on a day where I finally tackle my fears, the what, why, when, how, but, all shower down in a deafening noise. Then I stop and IContinue reading “Sometimes or Always?”

A Hike on Scarr Mountain

Paul Gauguin : : An Essay
This is an essay I wrote while doing an evening course at the University of Limerick 2007 studying the history of art and design. Over the years afterContinue reading “Paul Gauguin : : An Essay”

This is my first painting of 2019 which is almost finished. For some reason the thoughts of the planets aligning came to mind somewhere during the process.
