Two new paintings which I think are almost finished. A few mediums I used were oils on canvas, matt spectra gel, pieces from the forest floor and sand from Brittas Bay beach not too far from where I live.

Work In Progress

This is just a detail section of a painting currently in progress where I’ve incorporated actual pieces of the natural surroundings I draw from onto the surface. Colours are that bit brighter in this piece and from a personal level, that is very significant.

Something Ready

I think I’ve finished this piece. Unfolding Autumn came to mind as I walked in the woods a few weeks ago. It was between summer and autumn painting this. Friction Of Thought 

Hiking through Djouce woods today and ended up here. Not a sole to be seen as on a normal day this place has lots of people around. It was a great experience to get the space to myself and really take it in..
